Step 1: Sign up
Go to facebook.com/business and click Create a Page in the top right hand corner. Pick your business type. For MLMs, you can choose Brand or Product, or if you want to be the face of the product you’re selling, you can select Public Figure.

When you click on a business type, a box will open asking for a few further details, like the name of your business, your address, and your Page category.
Click Get Started to continue.
Step 2. Add Profile Image and Cover Photo
Next, upload profile and cover images for your Facebook Page.
Your profile image is shown with your business name in search results and when you interact with other Facebook users. It also appears on the top left of your Facebook Page.
If you’re looking to create a quick logo or Facebook cover photo, you can use Canva.com.
The cover image displays at 820 x 312 pixels on desktop or 640 x 360 pixels on mobile. The image must be at least 400 pixels wide and 150 tall.. so make sure your cover image follows these guidelines.
Step 3: Add a Page Description
This is where you can tell people about your business. It should be just a couple of sentences (maximum 155 characters) – just quickly explain who you are and what you’re trying to do.
Step 4: Choose your username
Your username, also called your vanity URL, is how you’ll tell people where to find you on Facebook. Make this easy to remember so that you can share it with others.
Step 5: Fill in the “About” Section
Fill out all the details that you can on your Facebook page. It’s important to ensure you’re filling everything out so that your potential customers or clients know all the important details that they need to be aware of.
To start filling this out, click About in the left-hand menu of your Facebook Page.
This is also the screen where you can add a longer description of your business. Click Edit Story on the right side of the Page to provide a detailed description of what your business offers customers. In your case, you would talk about your product or your opportunity. Remember to focus on one thing – either your product or your opportunity – when you’re engaging with potential customers. Learn WHY here.
Step 6. Create Your First Post
Before inviting people to like your Page, put some posts up that share a lot of value. Talk about your product or your opportunity, post some motivational quotes, or personal stories that you’re comfortable sharing. You can also share content from thought leaders in your industry, or share content from your up-line.
Step 7: Start Inviting People to Like Your Page
Invite family and friends to like the Page. If you have a website or any other form of presence online, encourage people on there to like your Page as well.
Step 8: Call to Action
Facebook has a Send Message button that’s there by default, encouraging your followers to connect with you through Facebook Messenger.
You can change “Send Message” to something else if needed if you want a different Call to Action when people land on your page.
I would recommend sticking to “Send Message” because if you can get people to message you directly you can help answer any questions they may have and it will give you a chance to connect with them personally.
